Day 103. Confession time: I actually only had time to do 5 activities in Granada, so my Top 5 is definitely biased. Still, that was enough to make me adore the city, but feel free to share your own suggestions in the comments if you’ve tried different things.
5. A walk on la Carrera del Darro
The street becomes narrower and narrower as you move forward. The river Darro flows on the right, and a wide variety of shops are on the left.
4. Alhambra
This is a view of the historic site of Alhambra from the Gyspie Quarter, for more information and for better pictures than mine, click here.
3. Eat Churros
The thing is, I engulfed them way too quickly, so I didn’t have time to take a picture, but everyone in Spain kept telling me the best churros were in Granada. And that was true. It’s also very cheap to eat in Granada since the tapas are all free. For the recipe.
2. Walk in the Gypsie Quarter
1. Visit the Hammam Al Andalus Arab Baths
Pretty much heaven. We weren’t allowed to take pictures inside, of course, but that made the whole experience even more magical not to know exactly what to expect. The Arab Baths are definitely a must.
Did you have to to visit Alhambra? I have been there many years ago – amazing architecture!

Yes! It was truly spectacular! But unfortunately I ran out of batteries when I made it there so I couldn’t take any pictures of the site. The mental memories were still worth it 🙂
