I mean, London’s great, but what makes it even greater is that you can hop on the Knight Bus and visit the Warner Bros Studio where the Harry Potter series was filmed. The experience was so magical, it killed the geek inside of me. (Not as in, it actually murdered my geekiness, but as in, Geek Me couldn’t help but have a heart attack once exposed to so much MAGIC.)

The magic of it all dwelled in all the little details on the set. Like post-its on a mirror to remind someone to get, quote, “More nails for Helena”. Or that box.

Filmmaking never ceases to impress me, especially when there’s such an enormous world to create as the one of Hogwarts.

We were told that the previous day, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) came by to say hi to the visitors. But it’s okay, because the next day we went to see the play Our Boys, in which Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) played.
Geek Me was fulfilled.
Have you ever visited one of the Warner Bros Studios? Was it up to your expectations?
Haven’t been but would love to!

I went about a month ago. I was so overwhelmed that I cried a little at the sight of the Great Hall. Not my finest moment but hey! Photos look great! Glad you had a good time, Jam x

Omg, the tears are entirely understandable. The first step into the Great Hall is quite overwhelming indeed!
