Biking Along St-Lawrence River, Québec

Last week the weather was heavenly in Québec, so I decided to leave for a 3-day biking/camping trip in Rivière-Ouelle. Best decision of my summer so far.

The trail was gorgeous, with a scenic view of the mountains, when not of the river, but I think what I liked the most was how much the people were laid back. The happiness was contagious and when I came back to Quebec City after only 3 days, I was smiling to everyone for no reason.

Note: People don’t smile enough in the city.

The camping site opened on the beach, where I spent a long afternoon reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child because OH MY GOD IT’S OUT AND I’M FREAKING OUT. (Have you read it yet?)

I rode for two full days, and it really made me want to leave for a longer trip. I feel ready for Saguenay’s Bleuts’ Bike Trail, which I can’t wait to check from my bucket list!

  1. I only been to Quebec City and Montreal, do not even know there is such a beautiful place Rivière-Ouelle in Quebec for a camping trip. The beach seems beautiful and the place looks like it totally disconnected from the rest of the world. I definitely need to visit!

  2. lol @ smiling at people for no reason. I can totally relate- that’s how you know you’ve had a good and restffu vacation. yay for harry potter and the cursed child- haven’t bought mine yet but def will 🙂
