HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
I wish you all a wonderful year, full of travels and books. (At least, those are my plans for 2017.)
It’s a new year, but the Book Club continues.
If you want to join me, the rules are simple: I announce the book we’ll be reading on the 1st day of each month and we start sharing our impressions of it in a new post that I’ll publish on the 20th. (Sometimes the 21st because I’m a wild and untamed procrastinator.) (If you want to make a review of the book on your blog feel free to link it in the comments on the 20th so we can all share and talk books and love life and be awesome.) (For more info, click here.)
Now comes the time to announce the book of January!
Clue #1
The title includes a number and a bird.
Clue #2
It takes place in an Amsterdam-inspired city named Ketterdam.
Clue #3
The book cover is absolutely dark and beautiful, with the sides of the pages printed in black.
Got it?
Even though my clues were crap?
Man, you’re good at this.
We’ll be reading Six of Crows, by Leigh Bardugo, and I’m really excited about this because I feel like every new year should begin with a fantasy novel. Don’t you agree?
Hope to see you all in the Book Discussion on the 20th, until then,
happy reading and happy New Year!
I think I might have the time to join this month! Looking forward to the discussion, I just bought the book.
