Last month, I spent a week in Vancouver and it definitely wasn’t enough. I know I’ll have to go back to BC one day to explore more cities and nature. (In a dream trip, I’m driving across Canada in a van.) But for now, here’s my top 5 to do in Vancouver!
5. Walk along Canada Place
Beautiful walk along the Harbour.
4. Stanley Park
Huge park. Rent a bike and spend the day exploring it. You can even spend some time at the Vancouver Aquarium in its middle.
3. Lynn Canyon
About 20 minutes from the city, the park offers nice hikes, beautiful waterfalls, and a 48-meter-long suspension bridge, 50 meters above the bottom of the canyon.
2. Granville Island
You can spend a whole day wandering through the shops and markets of this island! Eat by the water and get some awesome local souvenirs.
1. Capilano Suspension Bridge
Probably the most popular attraction, and for a reason. If you’re afraid of heights, you might want to spend the day on Granville Island instead, because this bridge is 140 meters long and 70 meters above the river!
(Can be pretty touristy, so the Lynn Canyon bridge is a nice alternative.)
Have you ever been to Vancouver?
Have you done any of these things?
What would you add on the list?
Let me know in the comments!
