Writing September // Day 1-10

As you may know, my goal for September is to finish my WIP (a YA dystopian/fantasy). That represents about 40K words to reach a first draft of approximately 75K. And today, I’m sharing the number of words I wrote so far in the month!

I MADE A CHART I FEEL VERY COOL.

So, unfortunately, as you can see, I didn’t get to write every day of the week because life (or excuses?) but I still feel pretty good about myself because it had been forever since I’d touched that WIP and I was starting to feel like I’d hit a major block.

A WRITER’S BLOCK.

MY BRAIN WAS LIKE:

BUT I’M HEALED NOW.

And I’m SUPER excited about where the story is going so I plan to (easily?) double that amount of words in the next week.

Words written: 7,193

Total of words: 42,193

Words to goal: 32,807

That’s about 1,641 words every day, guys. It’s TOTALLY POSSIBLE. Right?

yeess

I want to know about you guys!

How’s your writing going?

How many words have you written in September so far?

Do you need encouragement to reach your goal?

I’M HERE!

I’ll have exciting news to share about my upcoming book, Devonna, really soon! Until then, check out how my publishing journey is going so far!
