February Wrap-Up

Hi folks! Hope you had a wonderful month of February. Mine was full of snow and travel craves I had to smother because MONEY.

But I did escape into books, and I managed to read four of them between work and writing and getting back to indoors rock-climbing!

Here they are:

ONE: Stargirl, by Jerry Spinelli

I really liked this one. And oh my god, when Googling a cover of the book for this post I found out it was going to be adapted into a Disney movie, which is coming out in ten days?? And it looks so freaking cute!

TWO: Ugly Love, Colleen Hoover

That was an addictive read, but for some reason I didn’t want a happy ending? I think their relationship was just toxic, and that was okay because the title foreshadowed exactly that and I was really hoping for the MC to figure out she deserved better.

But oh, well.

THREE: A Bad Beginning, Lemony Snicket

These books are so freaking cool. I love everything about them!

FOUR: All the Bright Places, Jennifer Niven

The day before the release of the movie on Netflix, I decided to reread the book. I reread the whole thing from 9PM to 3AM and then I watched the movie.

This was a bad idea.

It was also the best part of my February.

Oh, the feels.

  1. Four books? Nice!! And danggggggg, I wish I could read a book in six solid hours! (I’ve read “Animal Farm” in one afternoon but it’s a tiny little thing and doesn’t really count haha)

I’m working on my post about my books 4-6 for the year… I keep forgetting to write about them but I will this week!

    1. Honestly I’m a really slow reader haha. I could only read ATBP in 6 hours because it was a reread, so I didn’t focus on every tiny little detail. It usually takes me around 10-12h to read a 350-page book.
