Summer Goals Book Tag

Here’s the thing.

I took the summer off work to write 3 books and read 1000 books and travel everywhere and of course like always I set myself WAY TOO MANY GOALS AND I’M SLIGHTLY FREAKING OUT BECAUSE GUYS, JULY IS ALMOST OVER?

How?

Why?

Really how?

So I figured the best thing to do would be to play a game and pretend everything is all right. (I live in constant denial. Cheers to that.) Continue reading “Summer Goals Book Tag”

March Wrap-up

It was SO time that winter got the hell out of my life because I’ve been stuck with a cold for half of March and it’s STILL going on, peops. I was exhausted all month so I read very little and wrote even less and omg MARCH SUCKS.

Hello, April, bring me sun and don’t be an asshole, like your brother, thanks.

So here’s what I read in March: Continue reading “March Wrap-up”

February Wrap-Up

Goals achieved:

  1. Read 5 books, including one in Spanish??? (feeling smart)
  2. Edited my manuscript Devonna and sent it to my agent (feeling awesome, and nervous AF what is this new life of mine?)
  3. Edited half of my other manuscript I’m writing in French (because who needs a social life? me. definitely me.)
  4. WENT ROCK-CLIMBING TWICE EVEN THOUGH I’M TERRIFIED OF IT AND THE OPPOSITE OF STRONG (feeling like a freaking ninja)
  5. Reached 1,000 followers on AWA (feeling proud)
  6. Put my flat on Airbnb to fund my next trip to Asia (feeling overwhelmed; I was not expecting that many reservations and requests in less than a week and this to become a second full-time job, but oh well, as I said, who needs a social life anyway? ME. OH MY GOD ALL THE WAY ME.)

Where in the World Book Tag

**Audrey feels like doing a book tag.**

**Audrey only has twenty minutes to write a post.**

**Audrey also experiences huge travel craves.**

Here’s the result! This really short but fun book tag I hope you’ll like!

  2. Share three places in the world that you think would make an awesome setting for a book.
  3. Tag as many people as you want!

Top 10 Books Read in 2018

I know. I’m late. But technically, I think we can make 2018-related posts all through January. And I have a good excuse: I’M WRITING TWO BOOKS AT THE SAME TIME OH MY GOD MY LIFE GONE CIAO WHY PLEASE NO.

I’m just editing so much and editing literally turns my brain into an unstable piece of uselessness, so whenever I’m not working or writing, I curl in a ball and watch The Office a.k.a my new reason to live.

It’s a tough beginning, 2019. BUT I READ 51 BOOKS IN 2018 YAY.

And here’s my Top 10, in no particular order: Continue reading “Top 10 Books Read in 2018”

Mini Halloween Book Tag

Hello everybody! October is almost over which means 2 things:

  1. Candies and chocolate come to mama//Halloween
  2. NANOWRIMO OH MY GOD WILL I MAKE IT OUT ALIVE?

In-between panic attacks, I felt like doing a quick book tag on the theme of Halloween, and of course I found out there’s a LOT of tags on that theme out there, and I got a little overwhelmed at the idea of finding one, since most of them are quite long. So I just decided to make my own little Halloween Tag.

Here it is!

Top 5 Books to Read During Back to School

September usually marks the beginning of a new school term, and I honestly didn’t think I’d be going to school this year, but life has a way of driving on my plans with a bulldozer.

For a couple of weeks, and against all my survival instincts, I swear, I’ve been really interested in a course with the University of Toronto that’s only available in class, and I decided to scream: I’M HERE, DEBTS, FIRE AWAY!

I registered. Continue reading “Top 5 Books to Read During Back to School”

Warcross – Playlist Tag

My dear blogger friend Nimika from Wordhaven tagged me for this really cool bookish tag, where you pick a book and build a playlist that fits the world of the story. Check out her awesome Book Playlist on The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer!

For my part, I decided to go with Marie Lu’s Warcross. I decided to call my Book Playlist BADASS TEENAGE GIRL WEARING SUNGLASSES AT MIDNIGHT JUST CAUSE. Though, I hesitated a long time with COOLER THAN Y’ALL.  Continue reading “Warcross – Playlist Tag”
