Favorite Books and Blogs of the Summer

WHERE DID SUMMER GO THERE’S NO WAY IT’S SEPTEMBER.

I’m not ready for September.

September means it’s almost October and that’s when my book Devonna is released, people. That can’t be this soon.

That being said, I didn’t read as many books during the summer as I would’ve liked, but it was still a great summer, and I discovered a bunch of awesome bookish bloggers. So here they are. Let’s spread the love!

5 Worst First Chapter Pet Peeves

Lately, I find myself starting a ton of new books and starting new ones before I finish them, and I realized that’s because for me, first chapters are CRAZY IMPORTANT.

If you don’t hook me in the first paragraph of your book, or at least the first chapter, there’s a good chance I’ll start reading something else, because let’s be real: this ain’t 1895 with only 5 fiction books at the library, folks.

THERE ARE TONS OF BOOKS OUT THERE, PEOPLE, AND I GET ANXIETY ATTACKS WHEN I THINK I WON’T BE ABLE TO READ THEM ALL.

That being said.

Summer Goals Book Tag

Here’s the thing.

I took the summer off work to write 3 books and read 1000 books and travel everywhere and of course like always I set myself WAY TOO MANY GOALS AND I’M SLIGHTLY FREAKING OUT BECAUSE GUYS, JULY IS ALMOST OVER?
